Abstract:
A method is proposed to insure the Power Cable does not come unplugged from a Power Adapter.
Background:
In the present usage the Power Cable is removable from the Power Adapter. As a World Wide product the Adapter must accommodate power cables with many different plug configurations to enable them to plug into wall outlets in many different countries. The present cable just pushed onto the Adapter and can become dislodged if someone accidentally pulls it. This cable tie cord management system is designed to secure the power cord to the power adapter, preventing them from coming off. It consists of two identical cable ties that engage with the plug housing and wraps around the power adapter. The tip of each cable tie is fixed together using a releasable latch.
Description:
This cable tie cord management system is designed to secure power cords to power adapters, preventing them from falling off. It consists of two identical cable ties that engage with the plug housing and wrap around the power adapter. The tip of each cable tie is fixed together using a releasable latch. The Cable Tie is made of durable nylon material, these cable ties provide a secure grip on the power cord and adapter.
Installation:
Step 1: Attach one cable tie to the end of the plug housing. Extend the tie to wrap around the power adapter.
Step 2: Install the second cable tie in the same manner but from the opposite side of the power adapter.
Step 3: Secure the tips of both cable ties using the releasable latch.
Benefits:
Prevents Cord Slippage: The cable tie system prevents power cords from accidentally detaching from the power adapter.
Neat and Organized: Keeps cords organized and minimizes clutter.
Reusable: The releasable latch allows for easy adjustments and reuse.
Adaptive: Can be used on different size power adapters.
