Abstract:
This disclosure proposes a Tool-less method of attaching a Display to a VESA stand.
Background:
Currently, using a screwdriver/tool to set up the POS system is a common method. We need to have the appropriate screw design to attach the display to different stand structures. You can spend much time and money on various attachment methods and screws.. This disclosure provides the solution to bring convenience to customers to install/remove the display on the VESA stand. The greatest benefit to the user is not needing any tool to tight the screws thereby saving time. They can easily assemble POS systems with this design and have a better user experience. The current design of the VESA stand is that the Display is attached to the stand by multiple screws.
This causes a few problems: It always requires a screwdriver to tighten /losen multiple screws when installing/removing the stand. The screws are easy to lose when disassembling the stand.
By using our design of tool-less screws, we could provide the following advantages.
Tool-less installation and removal of screws could Increase serviceability and shorten maintenance time.
Description:
The user could take the display and face it down. Riveting the screw tight on the back of the iron plate. Take the mounting bracket and make sure all holes pass through the screw. Spin the wings on the screw and lock the display.
