Abstract:
This disclosure proposes a custom designed octopus style zip tie that can be used to prevent cables plugged together from coming unplugged in usage.
Background:
Within Self-checkout units, there are several areas where two cables are connected with no locking mechanism, and with moving parts, the cables could come loose.
This idea solves that issue with any type of connector housing connected, to keep them connected without coming apart.
Description:
With the octopus style zip ties shown, select the 'legs' that best fit the connectors to tie in place, keeping the connectors in place without coming loose. Other 'legs' of the zip tie can be left as they are, or they can be removed. The zip ties can come with either permanent lock or removeable lock, similar to current zip ties offered.

Usages:
The application can be used in any situations where two cables/connectors are plugged in with each other, requiring secure connection without coming apart or loose.
Claims:
Octopus style design of zip ties in a row, to allow securing different size connectors plugged into each other, to keep them plugged in without coming apart or loose.
Enabling Technology:
Similar concept of current zip ties, but overall design for usage requirement is different.
