Abstract:
An operator finds it is difficult to attach the cash cabinet to the Kiosk body without help from others. The latch device needs to be hand secured before the mounting is completed. Our proposal provides an easier mounting mechanism that guides latch device into its position with single operator.

Background:
On the current design, attaching the cash cabinet to the Kiosk body requires at least 2 operators to complete the work. One to lift up and secure the latch body and the other one to push and guide cash cabinet into holes on Kiosk body.

Our invention not only eliminates the need for two operators working on a simple task but also provides automatic guiding when attaching the cash cabinet unit. Similar latch mechanisms are widely used in attaching 2 mechanical bodies but automatic guiding is not found without a fixed railing on at least one body.

Description:
Our proposal provides an easier mounting mechanism that guides the latch device into its position with single operator. The new mechanism not only automatically lifts latch to its mounting position, but also provides guiding from the cash cabinet to the kiosk body. The latch shape and size is modified according to its entry sequence. The bottom latch is slightly bigger so that the bottom pair provides guidance to the rest of latch pairs. Detailed descriptions and illustrations of said mechanism are shown in attached charts.
